The December Lubricants News Roundup

Welcome to the ABN Resource roundup this year (and what a year it has been!).

In December, we announced our new office in Dubai. We were briefed on new leadership job opportunities by some leading lubricants companies and we continued our sponsorship of the Rising Star Award during the last ICIS conference in 2020.  And of course, some more key hires made for our customers as we successfully concluded search projects.

ABN Resource Global Recruitment

2020 flourished with new global partnerships – this year we welcomed five lubricants recruitment specialists to our team in the USA, Middle East & China (learn more about our team here). Effective 4th Jan Monika Carlton, will move from our UK office to take charge of the Middle East business unit to serve our clients and candidates in this region.

Learn more about Monika, here.

Successful projects

December saw ABN deliver a successful conclusion to a CEO search for the UK and Ireland Fuel Distributors Association (UKIFDA), and we completed a board-level Technical Director position for Vickers Oils. We also delivered on technical sales hires for lubricants and additive markets in France & Germany.

The Pan America ICIS Rising Star Award goes to…

ABN Resource continued their global sponsorship of the ICIS Rising Star Award. A great initiative to celebrate talent, success, and achievement for key personnel in the lubricants industry. In December the event focused on the Pan American region. The award went to Kaustav Sinha, North America Sales Manager at Chevron.

We would like to congratulate Kaustav and we wish him more success in the future! You can read more about Kaustav, here. He joins other regional winners: Simon Moizan of Infineum, Brendon Wong of Chevron, and Rayan Bakhashwain of Saudi Aramco.

A huge Thank you from the ABN Team!

As the holiday season approaches, we want to express our sincere gratitude and appreciation. 2020 has certainly had its challenges and we thank all of our clients, candidates and strategic partners who have adapted to the environment COVID-19 put upon the industry.

By utilising our unique hiring methodology, companies have made key hires in a virtual environment.  Hearing from customers that they are above plan, or in some cases actually set a record year, knowing the staff we have placed there contributed to that result is why we exist.

Thank you and we look forward to continuing to serve you in 2021.
