About the Role
- Deliver the short and longer-term business objectives for the regional manager role.
- Develop and maintain best practices, creating and delivering value propositions effectively across the region with the appropriate support of team colleagues.
- Develop and execute contingency plans in response to evolving market dynamics and circumstances, providing clear market intelligence and recommendations for progressive business development in the region.
- Contribute to developing the global business strategy, ensuring that market intelligence and insights gained are distributed appropriately and accurately.
- Demonstrate competence and understanding of the markets, applications and the company’s related commercial offerings.
- Lead by example, developing appropriate, effective, external business relationships that clearly progress the company’s ambitions.
- Compile periodic progress reports on goals and actions versus plans and client business forecasts.
- Provide accurate forecasts supporting broader business planning and ensure sufficient time is allocated for prospective sales activity to build a healthy pipeline of new opportunities for sustainable business.
- Ensure channel partners’ effective selection, management and motivation in support of indirect sales and marketing.
- Support Finance as required to manage debtors.
About Candidate
- Degree level or equivalent education in an appropriate technical or business discipline.
- Further business qualifications (e.g. Diplomas and MBAs) are an advantage.
- Strong, demonstrable business acumen.
- International business experience in APAC Region with an International organisation.
- Proven, direct, B2B sales competence in Lubricants or a comparable industrial market. (>7 years).
- Experience in developing sales via indirect channels.
- Strong Negotiation and Leadership skills
- Outstanding communicator and rapport builder.
- Capable of ‘Big-Picture’ thinking in addition to a high level of attention to detail.
