About Role
- The role will be based in the Polish HQ in Warsaw.
- Full business unit manager managing a territory cluster incl Poland, Hungary, Slovenia, Czech, Ukraine and other regions.
- Product line is 75% automotive, 10% motorbike, 12% heavy duty, and 3% others.
- New product and market segments are planned to be added in the future requiring go to market strategy and new business development
- The company sells through distribution partners, so experience with this sales channel is important as well as OEM selling skills.
- Direct reports include 1 Sales Manager, 4 Sales, 3 Marketing, and 1 Technical Manager.
About Candidate
- The ideal candidate will have excellent sales & marketing qualities.
- 6-10 years in a leadership role at a business unit or general manager, or GM-1 level.
- International experience and fluent in Polish and English (required), German (not essential).
- Very reliable and motivating leadership approach.
- Experience with automotive lubricants or sold products in the automotive aftermarket such as parts or accessories.
- Able to collaborate, share, and exchange ideas with international colleagues and teams.
- Good financial skills to handle pricing, budgeting, and forecasting, handle p&l.
- Comfortable with a fast, entrepreneurial environment in a global and multicultural company.
