Now company is seeking an experienced Technical Sales Manager to join their team in Germany.
Key responsibilities
- Acquisition of new customers and active support of existing customers to strengthen and strategically expand the business with additives for industrial lubricants — mainly in the DACH / Eastern Europe region
- Planning, organising and managing own sales activities: from customer analysis, offer preparation, price, and contract negotiations to ongoing documentation and monitoring of sales and earnings targets
- Active market development by observing and analysing trends and taking them into account in the composition of the product portfolio
- Ongoing knowledge transfer between the company and customers — relating to products and their utilisation, in particular by visiting and advising our customers on site
- Clarifying technical issues in co-operation with suppliers and our development laboratory
Key skills
- Degree in chemistry, chemical engineering or a comparable technical or commercial qualification
- Several years of experience in the sale of lubricants, additives or similar, practical experience in the laboratory preferred
- Strong knowledge of lubricant formulations and treatments as well as relevant raw materials
- Very solution-orientated personality with strong communication and implementation skills and intercultural understanding
- Business fluent in German and English and willing to travel nationally and internationally, living in Germany
- Confident handling of common MS Office applications
