  • Within their area of responsibility, manages sales and service for fluids and equipment including cost, profit, goals, and growth factors in a manner most beneficial to overall corporate objectives
  • Identifies and qualifies new business opportunities/new customer opportunities and new channels to market in the metalworking industry
  • Develops and maintains good relationships with assigned District Sales Managers, Service Engineers, distributors, and customers, including frequent joint sales/service calls made to customers with District Sales Managers, Service Engineers, and/or distributor sales personnel
  • Manages regional personnel including recommendations for hiring, scheduling of
  • Training, performance evaluations, and promotions
  • Evaluates and forecasts market trends and needs
  •  Develops sales forecasts, target accounts, and distributor business plans
  • Increases sales through effective marketing, sales, and service of MFS products and proper management of distributor activities
  • Maintains frequent and complete communication on regional activity with corporate office personnel, District Sales Managers, and distributors
  • Maintains frequent and complete communication with customers, District Sales Managers, Service Engineers, Distributors, and Corporate office personnel as appropriate, including technical communications with the laboratory, application management, and marketing (competitive activity, target accounts status, customer preference, trends, etc.)
  • Builds relationships at all levels to meet new business target goals
  • Continually communicates, negotiates, and closes new business deals
  • Assists the Director of Sales – Europe in the overall development of the region, including target account selection and development, maintaining contact and good relations with machine tool builders
  • Complies with company policies in respect to travel, expenses, and all reporting functions
  • Assists and mentors the local team in the overall development of the district, including target account selection and development, maintaining contact and good relations with machine tool builders
  • Supports the distributors with effective training and communication
  • Effectively manages their pipeline, large and target customer base, distribution network, and prioritises time by utilising the District Sales Manager’s Territory Analysis tools. Manages new product sales revenue and percentages, product & customer mix, and utilises the provided forecasting tools
  • Develops and maintains working knowledge of all fluids and system products sold and serviced by the company

  • Motivated self-starter with the ability to work with little or no supervision and possess the ability to assemble and manage teams.
