A CTO role is ideal for a professional with an innovative mindset & strong technology background, who is looking for a senior management position in a prosperous and passionate company.

Position

  • Responsibility for identifying, implementing and driving the company’s technology & innovative solutions across the entire Group
  • Staying abreast of the latest trends in technology and studies the best ways to use this technology to increase the company revenues in coordination with other head executives
  • Playing a key role in the company transformation towards sustainability & digitalization, as well as identifying the proper technology and process to build a solid and profitable offer for the future transportation vehicles of tomorrow
  • Being an integral part of the company’s R&D programs
  • Strengthening a network of co-operation with and aim to implement projects with external research centres and universities

Candidate

  • Strategic & innovative mindset and strong business acumen are essential in this role
  • Education / Qualification: Masters’ Degree from University or Business School preferably in Management and Technology
  • +10 years’ experience within technology industry, ideally in Lubricants or Chemicals market
  • Experience in leading technological partnerships with external entities
  • Excellent knowledge of R&D
  • Strong leadership skills; ability to collaborate insightfully with team members to develop strategies and implement business plans (operational approach)
  • Excellent financial acumen for assessing business risks and opportunities and commercial negotiations
  • Strong planning, organising, coordinating and priority-setting skills
  • Ingenious in building relationships with OEM’s, clients, suppliers and contractors and the ability to relate effectively with clients’ senior management and staff
  • An excellent communicator and public speaker
  • English language proficiency
